The City of Papillion Police Department and the Papillion Building Inspections Department accepted waivers from property owners who had, prior to October 6, 1998, a non-hard surfaced parking stall or driveway area where they park vehicles on their property. The City Council passed a resolution at their October 5, 1999, meeting that provided citizens the opportunity to register all such parking stalls or driveways. Property owners had until December 31, 1999, to register such areas. It is now a violation of city ordinance to park on any non-hard surfaced area without such a registration on file.
