Water Division

The Public Works Water Division provides water to residents of the City of Papillion as well as the surrounding areas. Since 1976, the City of Papillion has owned and operated its own water system, regulated by the rules set forth by the State of Nebraska. 

Our Water Division works diligently to ensure the safety of the water we provide to you. In fact, on an annual basis, the City conducts more than 18,000 tests — 50 tests per day — at locations throughout our water system to ensure water quality. We also submit nearly 1,500 tests per year to be independently examined by the State.
